You will explore the rich traditions of literature from across the globe and discover how it has transformed our world and stands at the forefront of socio-political change. You’ll discover your own voice, whether as a writer, editor or critic and develop the key skills you need to make it heard.

The IFY will prepare you for the first year of your undergraduate degree. It’s made up of several core and subject-specific modules that will give you a greater understanding of your chosen subject area. 2024/25: All international students will receive 16% of University of Kent tuition fees per year, for students moving into a degree from all our pathway routes.
